Bell is a Nostr client for Android that gathers replies and quotes involving your accounts into one chronological timeline.

Connect several accounts at once. Bell collects replies, quotes, and recursive quote discussion around them, and follows a thread even when later posts don't tag your account. Likes, zaps, plain reposts, and generic mentions are left out. Each event appears once, labeled with every account it reached. Your own posts show up as conversation context, not as timeline items. Filter by account, or by direct replies and quotes.

Keys stay in Amber, which signs through Android's NIP-55 interface. Watch-only accounts can read but can't sign. Tap the sender avatar to choose which signed-in account replies or reacts. Replies are text. Reactions can be Unicode or custom image emoji, with favorites for each account.

Silence a thread or subthread, including its quotes, and keep its stored timeline.

Bell loads recent and live activity first and fetches older history in bounded batches when you ask. Relay availability limits coverage, and threads mark what is missing or still loading. Profiles and images are cached on the device.

Optional grouped notifications come in quiet, normal, or prominent styles, with full or generic lock-screen content. Optional foreground listening can help them arrive sooner, but Android power and network management can still delay them.

An optional developer logging setting, off by default, writes structural diagnostics. Bell's records leave out keys and content.

Compact icon controls, pure black surfaces, warm amber accents.
