With AI deepfakes, advanced social engineering, and data-broker aggregation on the rise, keeping your whereabouts and those of your closest people private has never mattered more. A Gart alert only reaches your Watchers - the people you choose to trust - directly, on demand, and over a fully encrypted channel. When you trigger the Gart alert button, your app geolocates you, encrypts your position, and instantly delivers it to your Watchers via the decentralized Nostr relays. There's no company in the middle, no data harvesting, no persistent tracking. How to use Gart Log in with your existing Nostr account. If you don't have one, the app creates it for you in just one click. Allow all required permissions. Invite your Watchers to your group. Your Watchers need to install the app too - that's what lets them decrypt your alert. Legacy SMS or sharing apps can't, and they'd leak your data anyway. While waiting for your Watchers to join, edit the alert message in your group profile. Provide specific instructions and key contacts: your own phone number, plus contact details for your family, security officer, business partner, or lawyer. Include your safe and duress words, and how a Watcher can challenge you covertly to confirm whether you're genuinely under duress. Your predefined alert message is encrypted and only revealed to your Watchers when you trigger an alert. These instructions are there to make sure your Watchers can act calmly and correctly in emergency situations. Once you have some active Watchers, test the alert with each of them, so that everyone knows how it works and how to respond before you actually need it. You can test alerts completely privately - the GPS is hardcoded to Mt. Everest and a Don't panic message is attached. That's it. You're all set. When seconds matter, open the app and tap and hold the button for about 2 seconds. Your Watchers will receive your GPS coordinates, open them in their map app, and follow your instructions to help you quickly. This is a beta version for public testing. - NostrVault NostrVault is a self-custodial Android Nostr client with your own relay and media server running directly on your device. Most Nostr clients are a window onto someone else's relay. NostrVault is the relay. A full Haven relay runs on your phone, so every note you write and every note you receive is written to storage you own before it goes anywhere else. If every relay you use disappeared tomorrow, your copy would still be on your device. HOW IT WORKS The app runs a personal relay on-device with five separate stores: an inbox for what people send you, an outbox for what you publish, a chat relay for private messages, a private relay only you can read, and a local feed cache. Your posts are written locally first, then broadcast outward to public relays on your terms. Incoming events are pulled in and kept. Because the relay is yours, notifications are generated entirely on-device from your own event stream. There is no push server — not Google's, not ours. Nothing about who contacts you, or when, is visible to a third party. A Blossom media server runs alongside it, so images and video you post are hosted from your own device and mirrored to external Blossom servers you choose, instead of being uploaded to someone else's host by default. - ntrack ntrack shares your live location with a group of people you choose — over the Nostr network, with no accounts and no central server. Locations are end-to-end encrypted (NIP-44 v2), so relays only ever see ciphertext from a throwaway sender key that is never linked to a personal Nostr identity. Any Nostr relay works. A group is simply a shared keypair. Hand its secret key to the people who should see you — holding it lets them decrypt, the public key is enough to send. The key is the membership, so rotate it whenever membership changes. Share — publish your encrypted location at a set interval. Track — follow your groups on a live map; incoming locations are verified, deduplicated and decrypted on-device, each with an "open in maps" shortcut. Alert — in a dangerous situation, one tap raises a duress alert (starting a share if needed): your updates speed up and a loud, pinned notification reaches every group member. A check-in timer can auto-escalate to it if you don't confirm you're safe in time.
